The Delaware Business Roundtable Education Committee (DBREC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that includes representatives from several Delaware Business Roundtable member organizations. The mission of DBREC is to improve public education in Delaware by aggregating and aligning the resources of Roundtable members and other business leaders.

WHAT WE DO
The “north star” for DBREC’s work is Student Success 2025, a statewide plan that set a vision and goals to transform the Delaware public education system to world-class by 2025. DBREC has successfully linked this visionary education roadmap to the Delaware Business Roundtable’s Growth Agenda in further support of state economic development.
Together with Rodel, DBREC aligns key public and private players on long-term vision, catalyzing ideas that can lead to systemic change and driving the policies and funding needed for those ideas to take root. In addition to being a strategic co-investor with DBREC, the Rodel Foundation of Delaware also provides strategic and administrative support to the committee.
Since its inception in 2006, DBREC has provided over $36 million in support of world-class public education in Delaware.
